I am very excited to announce that I have five new glazes that I am currently testing on some brand new work! A couple of weeks ago I had a meeting for the Charlotte area clay guild, Carolina Clay Matters, at Carolina Clay Connection, where I was able to pick out some new glazes. I was able to fire a new kiln load of stuff last weekend to try out my new glazes. A couple of the greens came out a little different than I was expecting, so they may change (with better mixing!). But I am very happy with the rest, especially the eggplant purple! I'm excited to make more for the upcoming Carolina Clay Matters Pottery Festival in Charlotte the second Saturday in May.
